Third grade students at Douglass Academy perform a rollicking rendition of Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree at their Christmas recital. The event featured performances from all grades K-5 plus a few special guests. Each performance received hearty applause and cheers from a packed house of over one hundred parents, friends, and family members. After the performance students were treated to a surprise visit by Santa courtesy of Word Changing Hearts Ministries.
Nikki Chaney, Headmaster of Douglass Academy, commented, “Our students did a fantastic job! They worked very hard and it paid off with a great performance. The audience loved it, and everyone had fun!” She continued, “We are also so thankful to Word Changing Hearts Ministries. They have been a big part of many events at Douglass Academy. We are proud to have such great partners in the community!”
